Fashion Monday! Getting Ready for Fall Outfits

I haven't posted a fashion blog for a while, so here is one to get you ready for Fall dressing.  I didn't do alot of clothes shopping this year, because Lord knows I don't need anything.  But I did pick up a few things at the end of Summer, with coupons and discounts of course, I don't shop any other way.  I paired some of my new finds with things I already had in my closet.   Having  a few new articles of clothing updates my wardrobe and makes me feel good!

A Little Spring In My Step!

Well, it's supposed to be Spring but you wouldn't know it by looking out the window and feeling the temperatures when you walk outside.  It's currently 45 degrees, damp, and the sun is nowhere in sight.  What kind of Spring is this!? I want the sun, I need the sun (vitamin D deficient).  This weather has got me down, so what do I do all day since I have to be inside?  I at least try to make myself feel better and put a little spring in my step, by going into my happy place, my closet.  I spend time in there putting together some outfits to grab when I am in a hurry to get dressed and go (once the sun finally shows it's face!!!)  

I had my eyes on this car length coat for a few weeks at Marshall's, but didn't want to pay the price.  It was originally being sold for $110, Marshall's was selling it for $59.99, too high for me, it was reduced to $39.00, waited it out and finally picked it up on the clearance rack for $29.00, YAY for me, and it fits perfect!

Quick, Grab Your Jackets Fall Is Coming!

I know it's only August, but the weather on the east coast has been more like Fall. I have turned the air conditioner off already, big savings there! It's jacket and sweater time ladies! When September rolls around, it's my favorite time of the year.  My two youngest will go back to college, the house will be quieter, no more late night door banging or food making in the kitchen at all hours of the night.  I rest easier.  September always seemed to me like a new beginning, not January. So when the weather gets cooler and all the ruckus stops around the house, I actually spend more time on myself, if you can believe that.  I dress up and go out more to keep myself occupied.  These are some of the Fall outfits I put together when I run errands or dinner out with the hubby.
